Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the strategic business plan for the EU market, focusing on expansion, user acquisition, and revenue enhancement.

• Oversee and administer local operations, which include marketing initiatives, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

• Enhance brand visibility and user interaction via targeted marketing, social media efforts, and community events.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, local financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.

• Navigate and ensure adherence to EU regulatory standards, including MiCA/MiCAR, MiFID, and EMI.

• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and regional regulatory changes to spot opportunities and mitigate risks.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and other global teams.

• Offer leadership, mentorship, and assistance to the regional team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in marketing, business development, or general management within the tech/fintech sector.

• Prior experience as a Country Manager or senior leader in the cryptocurrency industry is highly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the EU crypto market, consumer behavior, and financial regulatory frameworks such as MiCA, MiFID, and EMI.

• A well-established professional network within the DACH/EU crypto and fintech ecosystems.

• Outstanding communication abilities and executive presence, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• A results-driven approach centered on measurable business achievements.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth setting and adapt to changing market conditions.

• Proficiency in English and at least one other European language, such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian.

• Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulatory frameworks is a plus.

• Practical marketing expertise and a solid history of collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Previous management experience in the cryptocurrency sector.
