Counsel, Product – Health-Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer legal support to the Product, Growth, and Marketing teams concerning category development, new and existing solutions, marketing and educational materials, and digital product design.

• Recognize privacy and regulatory concerns and work collaboratively with the Regulatory and Privacy Counsel team to provide actionable legal advice.

• Evaluate customer-facing promotional content, such as advertisements, website material, social media posts, and product packaging, to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

• Deliver practical, business-oriented, solutions-focused, clear, and concise legal guidance.

• Cultivate relationships and establish trust with business partners.

• Maintain awareness of product innovations, business goals, and the evolving legal landscape that impacts the business.

• Address legal matters at the crossroads of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Over 4 years of post-law school experience working at a law firm and/or in-house, advising business teams on promotional and e-commerce activities.

• Familiarity with FTC laws and regulations.

• Knowledge of state consumer protection laws.

• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Strong business acumen and a creative approach to problem-solving.

• Preferred: Experience providing advice on FDA-regulated products.

• Preferred: Experience with intellectual property concerns, including trademarks and copyrights.

• Preferred: Working knowledge of U.S. and state consumer privacy laws and healthcare privacy regulations.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions for any employer.

• Must not require immigration sponsorship by Hims & Hers to work in the U.S.
