Cost Management, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager – Energy & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for performance and quality while providing dependable, client-oriented results.

• Effectively plan and execute tasks, recognizing opportunities to enhance value and seeking assistance when necessary.

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor groups.

• Oversee and manage contracts.

• Track expenses, forecast, report, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow.

• Achieve KPIs, program performance, cost management, and value engineering objectives.

• Offer commercial guidance and leadership.

• Enhance forecast precision and ensure prompt agreement of final accounts.

• Document lessons learned and aid in knowledge management.

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HNC level qualification.

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC.

• Background in cost/commercial management for Energy projects, including nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, or low carbon.

• Experience in cost/commercial management for Infrastructure projects, such as water, utilities, rail, roads, or aviation.

• Proven experience working on significant programs or project portfolios.

• Professional Chartership is preferable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in contract administration and management.

• Proficiency in cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variance, and cash flow control.

• Experience delivering on KPIs, program performance, cost management, and value engineering.

• Background in commercial leadership and final account agreement.
