Cost Management, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager – Energy & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the growth of the New Energy & Natural Resources sector

• Engage in significant projects for major clients

• Take responsibility for performance and quality while ensuring dependable, client-centered results

• Strategically plan and execute tasks efficiently, spotting opportunities for added value and escalating issues when necessary

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor groups

• Administer and oversee contracts

• Track costs, forecast, report, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow

• Achieve KPIs, manage programme performance, enforce cost control, and conduct value engineering

• Offer commercial insights and enhance forecast precision

• Ensure prompt resolution of final accounts

• Document lessons learned and assist in knowledge management

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HNC level qualification

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts

• Background in cost/commercial management for Energy projects (nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, low carbon) or Infrastructure projects (water/utilities/rail/roads/aviation)

• Experience in managing major programmes or project portfolios

• Professional Chartership is desirable

• Capability to administer and manage contracts

• Proficiency in cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variance, and cash flow control

• Experience in delivering KPIs, managing programme performance, implementing cost control, and conducting value engineering

• Experience in commercial leadership and final account resolution
