Cost Management, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager – Energy & Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Assist with the growing New Energy & Natural Resources sector

• Engage in landmark projects for prominent clients

• Take charge of performance and quality standards

• Strategize and implement work, identifying areas for value enhancement

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor groups

• Oversee and manage contracts

• Track expenses, forecast, report, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow

• Achieve targets related to KPIs, program performance, cost management, and value engineering

• Offer commercial leadership and guidance

• Enhance forecast precision

• Ensure prompt agreement of final accounts

• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge management

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and processes

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HNC level qualification

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts

• Background in cost/commercial management within Energy projects (nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, low carbon) or Infrastructure projects (water/utilities/rail/roads/aviation)

• Proven experience on significant programs or project portfolios

• Professional Chartership is preferable

• Capability to administer and manage contracts

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Competence in planning and executing work efficiently

• Ability to work autonomously or seek support as needed

• Excellent and constructive communication skills

• Must be capable of working remotely
