
Cost Allocation and Reporting Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee and enhance cost allocation methods across various hubs, departments, practices, and the MSO.
• Prepare, assess, and document monthly cost allocations along with relevant journal entries.
• Review allocation drivers and methodologies in response to organizational changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and business leaders to establish suitable allocation strategies.
• Analyze financial outcomes, significant variances, and trends across hubs, departments, practices, the MSO, and consolidated operations.
• Assist with inventory accounting and operational cost analysis, focusing on usage, purchasing, and cost trends.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including allocation assumptions and cost drivers.
• Generate regular management reports and conduct financial analyses.
• Facilitate month-end close processes, account reconciliations, audit inquiries, and other accounting initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing allocation procedures, reporting, documentation, and internal controls.
• Complete required training and adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related field.
• Strong grasp of general ledger accounting, cost allocation principles, and financial statement analysis.
• Preferred experience in multi-entity, multi-department, or decentralized organizations.
• Proficient in Excel and possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to manage large datasets and investigate variances.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a capability to work across various functions.
• Ability to handle recurring deadlines while also supporting ad hoc analyses and process improvement projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Complete all assigned accounts payable training, including CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, and Information Security.
• Adhere to Allergy Partners and specific hub/department policies.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and actively participate in cybersecurity initiatives and required training.
