Corporate Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming corporate and government travel inquiries.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all ALTOUR clients.

• Welcome all clients with enthusiasm.

• Offer consultative assistance to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.

• Accurately quote and book domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations.

• Ensure reservations are completed promptly and accurately while adhering to corporate travel policies.

• Comply with Federal and State travel regulations, including the Fly America Act.

• Obtain the lowest available rates for air, car, and hotel bookings.

• Utilize client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable.

• Employ GDS low-fare search capabilities.

• Maintain productivity, quality, and customer experience standards.

• Work Monday through Friday during shifts of 8–5, 9–6, 10–7, 11–8, or 12–9 Eastern Time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in travel sales.

• At least 5 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel sector.

• Proficient in international travel bookings and procedures.

• Typing speed of no less than 50 WPM.

• Exceptional and proactive approach to customer service.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry.

• Expertise in Sabre GDS, including formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricing, and Smartpoint.

• Required corporate travel experience.

• Excellent multitasking abilities and capacity to service multiple accounts with a high level of customer care.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to adapt to change and embrace new technologies and processes.

• Strong awareness of personal skills and areas for development.

• Ability to accept direction, make suggestions, and seek appropriate guidance.

• Outstanding teamwork and proactive support for peers.

• Capacity to act as a leader among colleagues.
