Corporate Travel Consultant – Amadeus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately quote and book domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations.

• Handle inbound corporate travel inquiries within a virtual call center setting.

• Provide exceptional customer service to ALTOUR clients.

• Offer consultative assistance to travelers and travel arrangers during the booking process.

• Ensure reservations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Adhere to Federal and State travel regulations, including the Fly America Act.

• Obtain the best available rates for air, car, and hotel bookings.

• Utilize client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when appropriate.

• Leverage GDS low-fare search tools effectively.

• Maintain productivity, quality, and customer experience standards.

• Work from 9 AM to 6 PM ET.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful completion of GDS assessment is mandatory.

• Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.

• At least 5 years of experience in travel sales.

• Over 5 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel sector.

• Proactive and exceptional customer service orientation.

• Strong knowledge of the travel industry.

• Proficient in Amadeus GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, and pricing strategies.

• Corporate travel experience is essential.

• Familiarity with international travel bookings and processes.

• Experience managing multiple accounts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to embrace change and adapt accordingly.

• Skill in providing constructive feedback to colleagues and leadership.

• Ability to manage challenging situations with little supervision.

• Strong understanding of key ALTOUR initiatives and effective change management skills.
