Corporate Travel Consultant – Amadeus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming corporate travel requests within a virtual call center setting.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to Altour clients.

• Welcome all clients with enthusiasm.

• Offer consultative assistance to travelers and travel arrangers during the booking process.

• Accurately quote and reserve domestic and international flights, car rentals, and hotel accommodations.

• Ensure all reservations are completed correctly and promptly.

• Adhere to Federal and State travel regulations, including the Fly America Act.

• Obtain the best available rates for air travel, car rentals, and hotel bookings at the time of reservation.

• Apply client and Altour-negotiated programs whenever possible.

• Leverage GDS low fare search tools.

• Meet productivity targets as measured by daily transaction volume.

• Achieve quality benchmarks based on minimal customer service complaints.

• Fulfill customer experience objectives assessed through call monitoring evaluations.

• Actively support colleagues and contribute to collaborative decision-making.

• Refer issues to a supervisor when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful completion of GDS assessment required.

• Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.

• At least 5 years of experience in travel sales.

• Over 5 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel sector.

• Outstanding proactive customer service skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry.

• Expertise in Amadeus GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, and pricing strategies.

• Corporate travel experience is essential.

• Familiarity with international travel bookings and processes.

• Experience managing multiple accounts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to adapt and embrace change.

• Strong awareness of personal skills and areas for development.

• Ability to take direction, provide suggestions, and seek appropriate guidance.

• Demonstrates outstanding teamwork capabilities.

• Ability to assume a leadership role among colleagues.
