Corporate IT Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for corporate IT operations, security, compliance, systems governance, and the technology experience of employees.

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle, which includes onboarding, offboarding, and hardware provisioning across diverse Windows and macOS environments.

• Lead and ensure accountability among MSPs and external vendors, establishing performance metrics and service quality during US and UK/European working hours.

• Assess corporate technology risks and associated costs.

• Supervise the SaaS application portfolio, focusing on access control, license optimization, and rationalization.

• Provide technical governance for business tools, such as CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Oversee identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID/M365, SSO, MFA, and privileged access.

• Direct the SOC 2 compliance program from start to finish, including audit coordination, evidence collection, control operation, and remediation efforts.

• Manage endpoint security, vendor evaluations, and corporate security incident response.

• Establish policies for approved AI tools, evaluate security and data privacy risks, and manage the corporate information framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including serving as an accountable owner for IT operations in a distributed or lean setting.

• Demonstrated experience in leading or significantly contributing to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance/security programs.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, SSO, MFA, and employee lifecycle management.

• Hands-on experience in supporting and managing both Windows and macOS environments.

• Proven ability to manage, assess, and hold MSPs and external contractors accountable.

• Self-motivated, highly analytical, process-driven, with excellent written communication and documentation abilities.

• Preferred: Experience as the primary IT owner in a small to mid-sized company (100–500 employees).

• Preferred: Familiarity with scripting, APIs, Microsoft Graph, or PowerShell.
