📋 Description

• Oversee the combined monthly and quarterly P&L closing process for FP&A, which includes forecasting, variance analysis, and comprehensive narrative explanations.

• Manage the annual budgeting process from a detailed bottom-up approach through to executive review.

• Create management and Board-level reports, including Board presentations, quarterly outlooks, and analyses for investor discussions.

• Implement AI and workflow automation within FP&A processes to replace manual reporting and reconciliation tasks.

• Work collaboratively with Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent understanding of financial data.

• Lead special analyses and scenario modeling for the CFO and leadership team.

• Collaborate with Revenue Forecasting and act as a backup for revenue and funnel forecasting, which includes weekly outlooks and revenue flashes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with significant time spent in a corporate or consolidated finance role.

• Exceptional financial modeling capabilities in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Proven experience in applying AI tools to practical finance workflows.

• Experience in creating management and Board-level reports, including written narratives.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior executives.

• Practical experience with EPM and ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Aleph, Oracle Planning & Business Systems, NetSuite, or SAP.

• Proficient in querying data directly using SQL or a similar language.

• Must be able to work from an eligible supported location within the United States, Ontario or British Columbia, Canada, or the Philippines.
