This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive monthly and quarterly P&L closing procedures for FP&A, which encompasses forecasting, variance analysis, and detailed explanatory narratives.

• Manage the complete annual budgeting process from the ground up, culminating in executive review.

• Create management and Board-level reports, including Board presentations, quarterly forecasts, and analyses for investor discussions.

• Implement AI and workflow automation in essential FP&A procedures, eliminating manual reporting and reconciliation tasks.

• Work collaboratively with Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to ensure a unified perspective on financial data.

• Lead special analyses and scenario modeling for the CFO and executive leadership team.

• Collaborate with Revenue Forecasting and provide support on revenue and funnel forecasts, including weekly outlooks and revenue updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with significant exposure to a corporate or consolidated finance role.

• Exceptional financial modeling capabilities in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Proven experience in integrating AI tools into actual finance workflows.

• Background in developing management and Board-level reports, including written narratives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior executives.

• Practical experience with EPM and ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Aleph, Oracle Planning & Business Systems, NetSuite, or SAP.

• Proficiency in querying data directly using SQL or a similar language.

• Must be eligible to work in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.
