Corporate Development Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 10–12 week summer internship commencing on June 7, 2027.

• Undergo thorough onboarding that encompasses Perigon’s mission, values, business strategies, and client service approaches.

• Experience rotations in Financial Planning, Investment Research, Client Services, Operations, Compliance, People & Culture, and Marketing & Business Development.

• Assist in corporate development efforts by conducting market research, performing competitive analysis, analyzing industry trends, identifying growth opportunities, and evaluating business development strategies related to wealth management.

• Complete an eight-week capstone project focused on investigating a business opportunity or challenge.

• Formulate recommendations and present your findings to the firm's leadership team.

• Cultivate relationships with mentors and professionals throughout Perigon.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.

• Preferred majors include Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.

• Candidates should be in their junior, senior, or postgraduate year.

• A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.

• A genuine interest in wealth management, financial planning, investing, and enhancing client experiences is essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are necessary.

• An interest in client engagement and teamwork is important.

• A professional demeanor and adaptability are expected.

• Candidates should demonstrate ownership and follow-through in their responsibilities.

• Curiosity and a willingness to learn from coaching are vital.

• Must have the capability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
