Corporate Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define, enhance, and sustain Data Reference Architectures.

• Establish and share architectural standards, principles, and guidelines pertaining to data.

• Formulate principles and standards for data integration and interoperability.

• Assist in the formulation of enterprise strategies for data management and architecture.

• Create guidelines concerning enterprise metadata, data lineage, and data catalogs.

• Support initiatives related to Data Governance and Data Management.

• Evaluate and propose architectures for the technological modernization of the data ecosystem.

• Assess data paradigms and architectures, such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.

• Guide decisions regarding conceptual, logical, relational, and dimensional modeling.

• Aid in defining standards for data quality, consistency, traceability, and interoperability.

• Contribute to Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.

• Evaluate solutions and technologies from the perspective of enterprise data architecture.

• Develop and review architectural documents, models, diagrams, standards, and artifacts.

• Act as a consultant to business, architecture, technology, and technical teams.

• Assist in defining roadmaps for the advancement of data architecture.

• Promote alignment of solutions with the principles and standards set by enterprise architecture.

• Proficiency in Architecture.

• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture.

• Familiarity with Solution Architecture.

• Knowledge of Reference Architecture.

• Familiarity with TOGAF.

• Understanding of ArchiMate.

• Insight into technological modernization.

• Knowledge of conceptual, logical, relational, and dimensional modeling.

• Familiarity with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.

• Understanding of DAMA-DMBOK.

• Knowledge of Data Governance.

• Familiarity with Metadata Management.

• Understanding of Data Lineage.

• Knowledge of Data Catalogs.

• Insight into Data Quality.

• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM).

• CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional certification is preferred.

• EXIN Privacy & Data Protection, IAPP CIPT, IAPP CIPP/E, and DCAM certifications are recommended.
