Corporate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contracts partner and point of contact for the business, concentrating on EMEA sales teams and professional services groups.

• Evaluate and negotiate software license agreements, SaaS contracts, service provider agreements, and support service contracts.

• Offer guidance on data privacy, cybersecurity, sovereignty laws, and other relevant data legislation.

• Educate the sales community on Commvault’s standard agreements.

• Assist the Deal Desk/Bid Desk team with tender submissions and special licensing conditions.

• Promote collaborative decision-making among Legal, Finance, Deal Desk, and other internal teams.

• Aid the Professional Services team with Statements of Work and other service-related agreements.

• Contribute to corporate governance in the EMEA and APAC regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-educational professional experience in a comparable Contract/Legal role within an international commercial in-house setting.

• A legal or commercial degree as foundational education.

• Strong negotiation capabilities, particularly in software licensing and SaaS contracts.

• Collaborative team member with effective client management skills and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

• Comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization.

• Self-driven with the capacity to work independently in a remote setting under minimal supervision.

• Proactive communicator with a problem-solving attitude.
