Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product copy to produce engaging and informative content that assists customers in making purchasing decisions.

• Craft product and collection descriptions, as well as feature and benefit copy, optimized for search engines.

• Generate factual content for websites and various platforms in partnership with Product, Claims, Merchandising, and E-commerce teams.

• Transform product specifications into benefits-focused sensory language.

• Ensure a consistent brand voice and compelling copywriting across all channels.

• Create and update meta titles, meta descriptions, and on-page SEO components.

• Conduct content audits and leverage site analytics to enhance copy and keywords.

• Organize and oversee marketing content in a user-friendly library.

• Maintain internal marketing documents, including SOPs, policies, and contracts.

• Manage deadlines effectively while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to the Marketing Director, Digital & Communications.

• Frequently collaborate with the Toronto team and participate in scheduled meetings during overlapping business hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in copywriting or content marketing.

• A post-secondary degree in Business or a related field, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Journalism, or equivalent experience.

• Solid understanding of SEO best practices.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for research and drafting processes.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong editorial discipline and meticulous attention to detail.

• Highly organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Interest or experience in the furniture and interior design sector is a plus.

• Availability to work during overlapping business hours with the Toronto team, typically in the afternoon/evening IST several times a week.
