Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and refresh content that reflects Kemper’s brand voice across various corporate and business sectors.

• Effectively communicate, position, and promote Kemper’s brands, marketing initiatives, and products.

• Produce compelling, original, engaging, and compliant content.

• Revise and enhance articles and content to improve SEO performance.

• Investigate organizational needs and target audiences through existing information, research, interviews with subject matter experts, and face-to-face meetings.

• Write, edit, and upload content for social media posts, blog entries, brochures, both print and digital advertisements, emails, training materials, website content, video scripts, and more.

• Oversee all aspects of content creation from brainstorming and concept development to final website publishing or print distribution.

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce copy that achieves strategic objectives.

• Ensure adherence to brand standards and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in a corporate writing environment focused on branding and marketing.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience.

• Exceptional creative and technical writing skills.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices to enhance content and online visibility.

• A diverse portfolio showcasing authored and edited content for both digital and print media.

• Writing samples are mandatory.

• Strong relationship-building, teamwork, and communication abilities.

• Excellent editing and proofreading capabilities.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Experience handling multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, accessible language for a wide audience.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

• Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
