Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging and useful content for relevant subreddits as well as Jerry’s own subreddits.

• Create both long-form and short-form copy that utilizes an authentic Reddit-native tone, formatting, and structure.

• Compose real-time, context-rich responses to community comments and questions.

• Experiment with narrative hooks, post formats, TL;DRs, bullet point breakdowns, case studies, and optimal posting times.

• Produce thorough, search-optimized Reddit copy suitable for Google indexing and AI-model citation.

• Collaborate with the Content, SEO, and Product teams.

• Transform company insights into precise Reddit-first messaging.

• Generate educational content covering subjects such as car insurance, financial topics, automotive issues, and vehicle maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Reddit user with a rich portfolio of writing specifically for Reddit.

• In-depth understanding of Reddit post formatting and the nuances of its sub-cultures.

• Minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience.

• Demonstrated experience in crafting both short-form and long-form copy.

• Experience preferred in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer technology sectors.

• Capability to distill complex topics related to insurance, finance, automotive, and technology into clear, useful, and compelling content.

• Proficiency in writing high-value, educational, and human-centric text posts.

• Skill in creating catchy titles and engaging, Reddit-native content.

• Ability to receive and incorporate feedback from internal teams and public comments.

• Must reside in one of the eligible U.S. states or Ontario, Canada.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Completion of a Reddit-style writing exercise is required.
