Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging and informative content for relevant subreddits as well as Jerry’s proprietary subreddits.

• Create both long-form and short-form copy that utilizes an authentic, native Reddit tone, along with appropriate formatting and structure.

• Compose timely, context-rich responses to community comments and questions.

• Experiment with narrative hooks, post formats, TL;DRs, bulleted summaries, case studies, and optimal posting times.

• Produce thorough, search-optimized Reddit content intended for indexing on Google, serving as reference material for AI models.

• Work in collaboration with Content, SEO, and Product teams to transform company insights into Reddit-focused copy.

• Simplify intricate financial and automotive topics into educational and captivating Reddit threads.

• Foster organic reach, build community trust, and enhance long-term brand value for Jerry.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Reddit user with a substantial portfolio showcasing the ability to write effectively for the platform.

• Familiarity with Reddit post formatting, nuances of subcultures, and the elements that contribute to a successful thread.

• A minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience.

• Demonstrated experience in crafting both short-form and long-form copy.

• Ideally, experience within fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer technology sectors.

• Capable of translating complex topics related to insurance, finance, automotive, and vehicle maintenance into clear, engaging, and valuable prose.

• Open to receiving and integrating feedback from internal teams and public comments.

• Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time salaried employment.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed.

• A resume and LinkedIn Profile URL are required.

• A written response to a specified Reddit-style prompt is also required.
