This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Review and edit text for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting in accordance with US English standards.

• Verify the accuracy and consistency of product data, names, measurements, and other factual information.

• Identify issues related to character limits, structural integrity, prohibited terms, and diversity & inclusion considerations.

• Utilize style guides, approved name databases, and briefs as reference points.

• Collaborate with writers to address any questions or concerns.

• Adapt to various content types and specifications as new projects arise.

• Evaluate Amazon product listings, theme-related content, and any additional materials prior to publication.

• Ensure that all content is precise, consistent, compliant, and in alignment with brand and platform guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in copy editing or proofreading, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or marketing sectors.

• Native-level proficiency in US English.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Capability to work efficiently with high volumes and meet deadlines.

• Comfort operating within established guidelines and recognizing when to flag issues instead of attempting to resolve them.

• Adaptability to transition between different types of content.

• Knowledge of Amazon listing specifications is an advantage.

• A Bachelor's Degree is requested in the application process.

• Submission of a resume is required for application.

• Hourly compensation will be provided in USD.

• An estimate of availability in hours per week is necessary.
