• Report on national factual news in Brazil, covering topics such as politics, economics, and justice.

• Remain consistently informed about matters of national significance.

• Verify information diligently and publish in a timely manner.

• Create objective, clear, and coherent content adhering to English-language writing standards.

• Utilize artificial intelligence tools to enhance journalistic production, exercising critical judgment and responsibility in reporting while ensuring human fact-checking is not overlooked.

• Employ creative approaches and propose story ideas that engage readers and set apart Gazeta do Povo’s factual news coverage, all while honoring the newspaper’s values and principles.

• Recommend story ideas that align with the editorial direction.

• Determine the most compelling angle for each story.

• Exhibit strong self-management skills.

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in journalism or a related discipline.

• Professional journalist registration (DRT/MTB).

• Experience in generating written content and working in newsrooms.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Quick adaptability and capability to manage story assignments effectively.

• A focus on reader satisfaction as a customer and achieving production goals.

• A strong commitment to teamwork and a proactive mindset.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools.

• In-depth understanding of the newspaper’s editorial stance.

• Availability to work daily on topics rooted in the editorial principles and to address these matters publicly.
