This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding client service and act as the primary liaison for assigned pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, and academic medical centers.
• Offer direct assistance and guidance to clients to facilitate the IRB review process.
• Interpret IRB decisions and processes for clients to ensure consistent and timely communication.
• Act as the main contact for Sponsors, CROs, and Principal Investigators on designated studies.
• Provide support on additional studies as required and serve as the key contact for assigned submissions.
• Perform administrative reviews of protocol and site submissions by thoroughly reading, analyzing, and understanding protocol requirements and associated documentation.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of various types of protocol and site submissions.
• Record and implement client-specific modifications and process change requests for approved protocols.
• Oversee vendor relationships and documentation related to foreign-language translations.
• Work in conjunction with the quality assurance team to reduce errors.
• Respond to clients within 24 hours of receiving emails or voicemails.
• Elevate customer or timeline concerns to management.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an IRB or clinical research environment, including the application of regulations to safeguard human subjects.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
• Capability to effectively utilize a proprietary system.
• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or the ability to achieve CIP certification within one (1) year of eligibility (preferred).
• Ability to remain seated or standing for prolonged periods at a fixed workstation.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and lower items weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Capacity to learn and understand basic instructions.
• Strong focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities.
• Proficient in verbal communication, active listening, comprehension, and response skills.
