This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Manage authorizations, input and audit data, and oversee documentation across various systems.
β’ Assist clinical operations through communication, including letters and faxes.
β’ Ensure timely and compliant record keeping that aligns with productivity standards.
β’ Address inquiries regarding member benefits, authorizations, and referrals.
β’ Confirm member information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
β’ Deliver compassionate customer service, conduct basic screenings, and escalate high-risk or crisis situations to clinical personnel.
β’ Assess cases and direct them to the relevant clinical teams.
β’ Gather and disseminate discharge information and provider updates to ensure continuity of care.
β’ Facilitate the flow of information among members, providers, and clinical teams.
β’ Operate from home using equipment provided by the company.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related healthcare field, along with 1+ year of experience in healthcare, managed care, behavioral health, or customer service settings; alternatively, a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience in those areas.
β’ Strong proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to operate within multiple systems simultaneously and accurately enter or retrieve data.
β’ Capability to talk and type at the same time while navigating systems during real-time member interactions.
β’ Must pass a background check upon hire and throughout employment, which includes criminal, identity, education, employment, healthcare sanctions, prohibited parties, sex offender registry, and 10-panel drug screening checks.
β’ Experience in autism services is preferred.
β’ Reliable high-speed internet service with a minimum of 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and a maximum latency of 100 ms, to be set up prior to starting.
β’ A quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls is required.
β’ Ability to remain seated for extended periods, communicate effectively, inspect information, perform repetitive motions, interpret data, problem-solve, make decisions, organize and plan, and maintain a positive professional demeanor.
