Conversions Operations Specialist – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jamaica.

📋 Description

• Review and document cash and in-kind asset transfers within the trust accounting system.

• Collaborate with sub-custodians to finalize trades from booking to settlement for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.

• Conduct reconciliations of invested assets and cash transactions between the trust accounting system and sub-custodian by established deadlines.

• Work alongside Implementation Managers and Investment teams to facilitate the transition of new and conversion-qualified plans onto the client's platform.

• Coordinate with receiving record keepers to liquidate and transfer plan assets from the client's platform.

• Update, maintain, and review client information within CRM systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with expected timelines.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of written operating procedures related to assigned responsibilities.

• Have a solid understanding of how mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs are traded and settled.

• Possess a strong numerical aptitude and an understanding of cash and traditional securities reconciliations.

• Be proactive and analytical, able to identify problems and propose effective solutions.

• Exhibit a high level of organization and reliability.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage client expectations effectively.

• Experience with collaboration, project management, and CRM tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Jira.

• General knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements, along with experience in one or more compliance/record-keeping systems (e.g., SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS).

• Must be available to work during US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm).
