Conversions Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Review and document cash and in-kind asset transfers within the trust accounting system.

• Collaborate with sub-custodians to facilitate the settlement of trades from booking to settlement for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.

• Execute reconciliations of invested assets and cash transactions between the trust accounting system and sub-custodian, adhering to specified deadlines.

• Work alongside Implementation Managers and Investment teams to transition new and conversion-qualified plans onto the client’s platform.

• Partner with receiving record keepers to liquidate and transfer plan assets from the client’s platform.

• Update, maintain, and monitor client information within CRM systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timelines are met.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of written operating procedures for assigned functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Have a solid understanding of the trading and settlement processes for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.

• Exhibit a strong numerical aptitude and a grasp of cash and traditional securities reconciliations.

• Show a keen interest in learning, creating, and quickly iterating on processes.

• Be proactive and analytical, with the ability to troubleshoot and offer solutions.

• Display a high level of organization and reliability.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage client expectations.

• Experience with collaboration, project management, and CRM tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Jira.

• General knowledge of ERISA regulations and experience with one or more compliance or record-keeping systems (e.g., SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS).

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Availability during US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm).
