This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly financial closing process and general accounting tasks for clients

• Cultivate relationships with external auditors and tax consultants

• Guarantee the prompt and precise completion of all deliverables

• Supervise the activities of Topo team members to facilitate engagement execution

• Assist in budgeting and planning initiatives

• Collaborate with the team on monthly budget forecasts, including cash flow projections

• Research and offer internal and client leadership on technical accounting inquiries and updates

• Evaluate internal control environments and implement enhancements

• Document and oversee internal controls as part of operational accounting tasks

• Deliver direct accounting support and collaborate with CEOs and leadership teams at high-growth, venture-backed companies

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in public accounting, corporate accounting, finance, or a related field

• Strong quantitative skills

• Extensive experience with spreadsheet software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, uncertainty, and evolving business environments

• CPA is highly preferred

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future

• Highly organized with a strong focus on detail and accuracy

• Self-motivated with the capability to turn ideas into action

• Ability to transition swiftly from high-level strategic thinking to tactical execution
