Control-M Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate current job workflows in Cloudera and their integration with Control-M.

• Replicate and modify the scheduling framework for the new Oracle workflows.

• Revise paths, parameters, execution references, and dependencies.

• Analyze and adjust scripts and commands as necessary.

• Verify scripts, commands, schedules, and dependencies for accuracy.

• Resolve issues throughout the migration preparation and execution phases.

• Coordinate execution windows and technical requirements with the appropriate teams.

• Conduct tests and validate the new schedules.

• Assist in the technical management of migration-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Control-M.

• Background in job scheduling and workflow management.

• Understanding of dependencies among jobs and processes.

• Experience in analyzing and modifying workflows.

• Expertise in reviewing and adjusting scripts and commands.

• Capability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Experience in testing and validating schedules.

• Familiarity with Cloudera.

• Knowledge of Oracle ADW.

• Understanding of Oracle Object Storage.

• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours during migration periods.

• Occasional availability for weekend work during go-live events.
