Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the success and motivation of participants' learning in Operations Management, including Data & AI.

• Act as a coach to guide and support learners within the flipped classroom model.

• Foster active engagement with learning materials and their practical applications.

• Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing through innovative approaches.

• Inspire participants and maintain a positive learning and working atmosphere.

• Assist learners individually in completing assignments as part of their project work.

• Evaluate project work.

• Contribute to the continuous development of the product.

• Conduct teaching remotely from a home office.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management.

• Extensive practical experience in Operations Management, operational oversight, and data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes.

• A degree or vocational qualification in business, business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Excellent German language proficiency (C2) for training delivery.

• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Office—especially Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma.

• Strong background in daily operational management.

• Capability to prioritize based on available data and make decisions under time constraints.

• Professional handling of incomplete data and escalation issues.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications.

• Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI in operational contexts, along with essential legal and ethical considerations.

• Include a summary of projects utilizing AI tools in Operations Management with your application.

• Experience in analyzing and enhancing operational processes and performance through KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking.

• Proven experience in leading and developing teams in data-driven environments.

• Experience with KPI-based performance management, as well as conducting feedback and development discussions.

• Professional approach to conflict management and addressing resistance to change.

• Familiarity with resource management and ensuring operational stability.

• Experience in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management.

• Ability to assess options and make make-or-automate decisions.

• Several years of experience as an online trainer in adult education is preferred.

• A broad range of methods and tools in instructional design and teaching is preferred.

• Experience in applying innovative methods to actively engage learners is preferred.

• A New Work mindset and an interest in emerging learning technologies is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork are preferred.
