Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the learning outcomes and motivation of participants.

• Acting as a coach to guide and support learners within the flipped-classroom model.

• Promoting active interaction with learning materials and their practical applications.

• Facilitating discussions on the learned content through innovative formats.

• Fostering a positive learning and working atmosphere.

• Overseeing participants’ individual assignments as part of project work.

• Evaluating project outcomes.

• Assisting in the ongoing development and enhancement of the product.

• Conducting remote teaching from a home office.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management.

• Proficient in German at a C2 level, as this will be the medium of instruction.

• Significant practical experience in Operations Management, operational oversight, and data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes.

• A degree or vocational qualification in business, business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Skilled in using Jira, Microsoft Office—especially Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma.

• Extensive background in daily operational management.

• Capability to prioritize based on available data and make decisions under time constraints.

• Professional management of incomplete data, escalation scenarios, conflicts, and resistance.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications.

• Understanding of the potential and limitations of AI in operational settings, along with key legal and ethical considerations.

• Submission of an overview of projects that utilized AI tools in Operations Management as part of the application process.

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes and performance using KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking.

• Proven experience in leading and developing teams within data-driven environments.

• Background in performance management and conducting feedback and development discussions.

• Experience in resource management ensuring operational stability, particularly in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management.

• Ability to assess courses of action and make well-informed make-or-automate decisions.

• Several years of experience as an online trainer in adult education is preferred.

• A well-rounded toolkit of teaching methods and instructional strategies would be beneficial.

• Experience applying innovative approaches to engage learners is advantageous.

• A New Work mindset and interest in emerging learning technologies would be a plus.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork are desirable.
