Contract Negotiator I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Recruit healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and ancillary services, to enter into network participation agreements.

• Ensure that documentation and information adhere to Corporate, health plan, and State regulations.

• Establish and develop a network for a specific region and group of providers.

• Lead the recruitment efforts for assigned physicians, hospitals, and ancillary services.

• Ensure that all standard contracts are complete, accurate, and aligned with objectives.

• Facilitate and supervise provider setup and contract configuration to ensure accurate claims processing.

• Initiate outreach and identify potential providers based on geographic and specialty requirements.

• Maintain and update the provider database.

• Collaborate with internal departments and contracted providers to ensure contract compliance is implemented and maintained.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 0-2 years of experience in contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or similar roles within a hospital, physician’s office, or group setting.

• Familiarity with State and/or Federal healthcare programs is preferred (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare).

• Candidates must reside in the state of Indiana.

• Ability to travel locally on occasion for internal meetings and provider-facing engagements.
