Contract Due Diligence Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate loan packages, underwriting guidelines, or data files to pinpoint necessary documentation for assessment

• Extract required information from documents and bookmark pertinent pages

• Review loans to assess salability or perform final examinations for precision and completeness

• Detect and document inconsistencies and monitor document-related issues

• Input data and fees from LEs, CDs, and COCs into the record system and conduct issue analysis

• Document and track exceptions for incorrect or missing paperwork, data inaccuracies, and LE/CD discrepancies

• Investigate and respond to rebuttals and findings

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill expectations and deadlines, escalating issues when necessary

• Execute system logic against gathered information and manage resulting exceptions

• Implement exceptions and validations to ensure thorough and accurate evaluations

• Diligently monitor time spent on reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control/Due Diligence/Secondary Market (mandatory)

• Preferred experience in fraud investigative reviews within the banking or lending sector

• Understanding of mortgage lending principles, compliance regulations, and relevant documentation

• Experience with Mavent and Lauramac

• Capability to meet production quality and service benchmarks

• High level of technical proficiency

• Proficiency in Slack, Zoom, GSuite, and Microsoft Office

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a meticulous, organized approach
