Contract Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee, track, and uphold the credentialing and re-credentialing processes.

• Analyze and guarantee adherence to standards set by accrediting and regulatory bodies.

• Ensure production and quality benchmarks are met.

• Validate that submitted credentials are up-to-date and complete, including necessary licenses and certifications.

• Keep precise records of files within the Trio VMS system.

• Relay pertinent updates and notifications to relevant agencies.

• Keep track of credential and Certificate of Insurance (COI) expiration dates.

• Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of both company and employee information.

• Limit access to information strictly for job-related needs.

• Inform senior management of vendor trends that may cause issues and items that require attention.

• Utilize independent judgment to manage and share confidential information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• 1–2 years of experience in credentialing, onboarding, compliance, or staffing operations is preferred.

• Experience in high-volume administrative or compliance settings is required.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

• Capability to quickly learn and operate various systems, including VMS and credentialing platforms.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients and VMS technologies.

• Preferred: Background in credentialing locum tenens providers with healthcare facilities, and liaising with CVO, MSO, and Provider Enrollment teams.

• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
