Contract Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Perform legal research to assist with litigation efforts

• Offer legal counsel to clients dealing with consumer debt issues

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and opposing parties

• Keep informed about updates in relevant laws and regulations

• Collaborate with and support staff to meet case objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required

• Must possess a license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction

• Extensive experience in litigation is necessary

• Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and agreements

• Strong analytical abilities are essential

• Familiarity with law office software and tools is expected

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
