Content Tagging Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and categorize digital content, which includes videos, audio files, and listings.

• Allocate appropriate tags, categories, keywords, and metadata in accordance with predefined guidelines.

• Adhere to taxonomies, tagging protocols, and internal processes.

• Examine existing tags and metadata for any errors, inconsistencies, duplicates, or omissions.

• Conduct quality assessments on tagged content.

• Refer ambiguous or complex situations to supervisors or quality assurance teams.

• Collaborate with team members to uphold and enhance tagging standards and classification methods.

• Achieve productivity and accuracy objectives.

• Keep content records organized and precise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable position, such as content tagging, classification, data annotation, or metadata management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of repetitive tasks.

• Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking abilities.

• Basic computing skills and familiarity with content management systems, spreadsheets, or similar digital tools.

• Capability to follow detailed instructions and consistently apply established guidelines.

• Strong organizational skills, patience, and a responsible attitude towards repetitive work.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.

• Willingness to work assigned shifts, which may include evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level (advanced) is required.

• Must be a resident of Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, or any other country specified in the application.
