Content Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Typeset and format international study guides in various languages utilizing Adobe InDesign.

• Prepare and design document layouts specifically for international translations, ensuring visual uniformity.

• Assist in developing communication strategies and outreach efforts to promote international guides aimed at language networks and users.

• Provide direct support with line editing, proofreading, typesetting, and formatting English study guides in collaboration with the Global Coffee Break content coordinator and vendors.

• Execute routine administrative duties and manage documents efficiently.

• Create engaging social media content and digital assets for Global Coffee Break.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Enthusiastic willingness to advocate for the Global Coffee Break program with professionalism and tact.

• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign and desktop publishing techniques.

• Demonstrated expertise in document typesetting, spacing, translation layout adjustments, and print preparation.

• Proven capability in creating digital graphics and copywriting for social media management and organizational communications.

• Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage complex and changing publication workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Graphic Design, or equivalent professional experience.

• Intermediate editorial experience, including line editing, copyediting, proofreading, and knowledge of curriculum structural frameworks and MLA format.

• Intermediate experience in educational or ministry publishing processes is a plus.

• Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods.

• Dexterity of hands and fingers for operating a traditional computer keyboard and mouse.
