This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the videographer and internal content creator for Studio Z, working across a diverse array of formats and environments.
• Design and implement lighting setups for interviews, narrative projects, and product displays.
• Capture high-quality production audio for interviews, scripted content, vodcasts, and documentary-style filming, accommodating multi-camera and multi-microphone scenarios.
• Edit, mix, color grade, and finalize projects using Adobe Premiere Pro, producing versions suitable for long-form YouTube content and vertical social media cutdowns.
• Create or utilize motion graphics templates and animate product user interfaces in After Effects, based on Figma product design systems.
• Assist in concept development and shooting logistics, including creative direction, shot lists, storyboards, location scouting, scheduling, talent coordination, and budget management.
• Maintain and manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment, while overseeing equipment investments.
• Collaborate with Post Production to establish remote, cloud-based production-to-post processes, including footage management, proxies, templates, delivery, backup, and archiving.
• Direct and supervise external vendors, on-set crews, and in-house support teams.
• Share expertise, document workflows, and enhance the creative and production capabilities of the team.
• Travel as needed for shoots and retreats.
• Over 5 years of experience in video production, cinematography, editing, and motion graphics.
• A portfolio showcasing work that has been personally shot.
• Proven ability to independently manage a shoot, including scouting locations, lighting setups, audio recording, and wrapping up post-production.
• Extensive knowledge of camera operation and technical aspects of content creation.
• Competence in quickly lighting and capturing clear audio in challenging environments.
• Strong editing skills and a knack for storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred, with knowledge of DaVinci Resolve as an alternative.
• Familiarity with After Effects and UI product animation from Figma design files is advantageous.
• Experience with remote production and cloud-based post workflows, such as LucidLink and Frame.io.
• Interest in AI and emerging creative technologies.
• Photography and drone experience is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in film, communications, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
