Content Moderator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate user profiles, images, and advertisement texts to ensure adherence to Community Guidelines and Trust & Safety policies.

• Oversee customer support inquiries related to ban appeals, content moderation, and policy clarifications.

• Assess, investigate, and manage critical safety threats, including impersonation, blackmail, and significant exploitation risks.

• Detect malicious actors, multi-accounting schemes, and new scamming strategies.

• Employ reverse image search, metadata analysis, internal admin dashboards, spam notifications, and user analytics tools for fraud detection.

• Refer high-risk safety issues to Senior Moderators and the Head of Moderation.

• Report platform bugs and technical safety concerns.

• Record patterns of bad actors and share insights and updates with the team.

• Commit to full-time work, 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts and two days off weekly.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in moderation and customer support, preferably in dating applications, text/profile moderation, or fraud analysis.

• Demonstrated success in utilizing ticketing systems to address user inquiries and investigate multi-accounting activities.

• Knowledge of reverse image search tools such as Google Lens and TinEye.

• Basic understanding of metadata tools.

• Fundamental proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and MS Office.

• Proficient with Slack, Notion, and Jira.

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher in English.

• Intermediate proficiency in Russian (B1+) is strongly preferred but not essential.

• Capacity to manage explicit, distressing, or sensitive content with professionalism.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong investigative skills.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new internal tools and policies.

• Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends.

• Availability for rotating shifts: 08:00–16:00 CET and 16:00–00:00 CET.
