This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create clear and consistent UI text throughout various flows, including labels, error messages, empty states, onboarding, and tooltips.
• Lead the design of information architecture and navigation for intricate product areas.
• Establish and uphold cross-product terminology.
• Collaborate with product management and product marketing to address naming conflicts and facilitate sustainable decisions.
• Develop guidelines and patterns focused on content for product designers and engineers.
• Create and sustain in-product guidance experiences such as walkthroughs and tours.
• Work together on design system standards to guarantee that content patterns are compliant and reusable.
• Partner with design and research teams on usability studies and card sorting exercises.
• Assist product designers with frameworks and AI-supported tools to ensure quality at scale.
• Collaborate across product design, product management, engineering, research, and marketing teams.
• A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience should encompass content design and UX writing practice.
• Previous experience in content design, UX writing, or a closely related field within complex software products.
• Proven experience in driving cross-functional alignment on terminology and naming decisions among product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders.
• Proficiency in crafting UI text.
• Ability to think structurally about information architecture, taxonomy, and navigation.
• Experience using Figma and working with design systems.
• Familiarity with Magnetic or similar enterprise design systems is an advantage.
