This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Craft clear and consistent UI text throughout product workflows, which includes labels, error notifications, empty states, onboarding instructions, and tooltips.
• Spearhead information architecture and navigation design for intricate product segments by utilizing research and understanding user mental models.
• Establish and uphold standardized terminology across multiple products.
• Collaborate with product management and product marketing to address naming discrepancies and facilitate long-lasting decisions.
• Create content-driven guidelines and frameworks for error messaging, capitalization, and in-product assistance.
• Design and manage in-product guidance features such as walkthroughs and tours.
• Work together on design system standards to ensure that content patterns are compliant and can be reused effectively.
• Team up with design and research on usability tests and card sorting activities.
• Assist product designers by providing frameworks and AI-supported tools to maintain quality at scale.
• A Bachelor's degree along with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience encompasses content design and UX writing practices.
• Previous experience in content design, UX writing, or a closely related discipline within complex software products.
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional consensus on terminology and naming choices with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Capability to navigate uncertainty and express the strategic significance of content design.
• Proficient in writing clearly and concisely with a consistent tone across varied UI platforms.
• Experience with information architecture, taxonomy, and navigation principles.
• Familiarity with Figma and design systems is preferred.
• Experience with Magnetic or a similar enterprise design system is an advantage.
