Channel9 Content Creator, Evangelist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Ideate and create captivating content across short-form videos, podcasts, and interviews.

• Simplify intricate cybersecurity technologies and sales concepts into clear, engaging, and memorable narratives.

• Foster relationships with engineering, product, sales, and customer teams to discover compelling stories.

• Cultivate a distinct, trusted voice and perspective for the Channel9 audience.

• Act as the recognizable representative of Channel9 at conferences, customer events, and internal EBCs.

• Enhance audience growth and engagement by exploring new content formats.

• Equip the audience with technical and sales knowledge to elevate confidence and curiosity.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in content creation, technical evangelism, sales engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven capability to distill complex technical or cybersecurity concepts for varied audiences.

• Demonstrated on-camera presence coupled with superb public speaking skills.

• Outstanding storytelling, interviewing, and communication skills.

• High level of self-motivation, autonomy, and the ability to manage your content calendar effectively.

• Strong skills in relationship-building to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience in the cybersecurity or enterprise software sector.

• A portfolio showcasing published content, such as podcasts, videos, or technical blogs.

• Experience presenting at large-scale industry conferences or customer events.

• Familiarity with video and audio editing tools as well as production workflows.
