Content Creator Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Fulfill tasks outlined in the content calendar and propose creative ideas for approval.

• Create podcast episodes, which involves writing, recording, and editing the material.

• Timely submit the finalized content to the podcast team leader.

• Develop captivating titles and thumbnails for podcast episodes.

• Edit short-form reels from podcast episodes for various social media platforms.

• Compose brief, engaging descriptions for uploads on Spotify and YouTube.

• Grasp the key audiences for different ONC podcast segments and formulate targeting strategies to enhance video engagement.

• Utilize social media and marketing insights to recommend methods for increasing podcast reach and engagement.

• Interact with ONC team members via Slack, email, and Zoom.

• Record, edit, research, outline, and publish podcast episodes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Communications, Video & Graphic Arts, Film/Video Production, Script Writing, or related fields; or possess a strong passion for Film Studies, Video Production, and/or Communication.

• Familiarity with various podcast styles and current trends.

• Understanding of social media platforms and fundamental marketing principles.

• Capability to craft concise and engaging titles and descriptions.

• Basic technical abilities for creating thumbnails, editing reels, and preparing content for upload.

• Comprehension of fundamental file management.

• Proficient in Sound Editing.

• Knowledge of Video Editing is preferred.

• Must be a responsive, consistent, and effective communicator.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Availability to participate in Organization-Wide meetings every other week.

• Availability to attend weekly Podcast team meetings.

• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
