Content Creator, Duo’s Creator Club – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and share original, short-form content for Duolingo on dedicated TikTok and Instagram accounts each day.

• Leverage Duolingo’s products, characters, and educational mission to create engaging, platform-native videos.

• Test various concepts, formats, and viral hooks, including those proposed by the Creator Club team.

• Record and edit videos using accessible tools like smartphones and platform-specific editing features.

• Analyze performance metrics and feedback, applying insights to enhance future content.

• Engage with the Creator Club community, participate in coaching sessions, and stay updated with program communications.

• Adhere to Duolingo’s guidelines regarding content, brand safety, disclosures, music, and account management.

• Complete onboarding, content submission, and payment processes punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• No prior professional experience, degree, or portfolio is necessary.

• A passion for creating short-form social media content and an eagerness to learn what makes it captivating.

• Comfort in appearing on camera and the ability to articulate ideas clearly through video.

• Dependability and availability to produce and publish content daily throughout the duration of the program.

• Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram, including common formats, trends, and editing tools.

• Access to a smartphone and a stable internet connection.

• Openness to experimenting with new ideas, analyzing results, incorporating feedback, and continuously improving.

• Capability to follow creative direction, fulfill program requirements, and meet deadlines.

• A genuine interest in Duolingo, education, or making learning products entertaining.

• Outstanding candidates may have created social videos for school, student organizations, personal accounts, or community initiatives.

• Exceptional candidates may have examples of content that achieved high engagement rates.

• Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools is a plus.

• Exceptional candidates may have experience in producing comedy, storytelling, educational, or product-focused content.

• A multi-week Duolingo streak is beneficial.
