This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Edit engaging and fast-paced shortform videos from raw youth sports footage, which includes highlights, day-in-the-life clips, and athlete features.

• Create Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts, delivering 60–90 second edits within a 24–48 hour timeframe.

• Utilize CapCut and/or Premiere Pro to incorporate dynamic captions, trending audio, motion graphics, and pacing suited for each platform.

• Work collaboratively with the social media team using Iconik and Slack.

• Retrieve footage, adhere to content calendars, and fulfill weekly posting requirements across basketball, baseball, volleyball, and flag football programs.

• Ensure visual brand consistency, compliance with music licensing, and use of on-brand graphics and lower thirds.

• Adjust tone to suit various platforms and audience demographics.

• Stay updated on shortform trends, sounds, and editing styles, and propose formats to enhance engagement and follower growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in editing shortform video for social media platforms, including practical use of CapCut and/or Premiere Pro with captions, audio, and motion graphics.

• Capability to produce 60–90 second edits within 24–48 hours after receiving footage.

• Comfortable working under deadlines and meeting production quotas.

• Strong communication skills for clear and prompt interaction with the social media team.

• Keen attention to detail concerning captions, graphics, and music licensing compliance.

• Reliable remote setup for editing and video delivery.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Perplexity Computer is advantageous.

• Previous experience in creating content for youth sports programs or school-age audiences is a plus.

• Practical experience with Iconik or a similar media asset management platform is beneficial.

• Knowledge of editing templates, presets, or automation tools is an added advantage.

• Experience in preparing and delivering content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts at scale is a bonus.
