Container Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Enhance the functionality of the OpenShift platform

• Install, manage, and operationalize OpenShift Operators

• Provide support for logging, service mesh, monitoring, and observability systems

• Propel the automation initiatives of the infrastructure team

• Assist in automating and improving DevSecOps processes

• Collaborate with teams involved in application development

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues

• Create automation tools and scripts

• Utilize AWS services, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Jenkins, eventing frameworks, Java, Shell, and Python

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, containers, or Docker

• Proficiency with Red Hat OpenShift and AWS

• Background in object-oriented programming and Java

• Experience with Linux and Bash shell scripting

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevSecOps principles

• Knowledge of SRE, observability, and eventing/Kafka

• Experience with containerization and Docker

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in computer science or computer engineering

• Public Trust clearance level

• Eligibility to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

• Client/production OpenShift experience is advantageous

• Completion or progress towards the Red Hat Certified Administrator Exam (EX280) is a plus
