📋 Description

• Design, manage, debug, and document the databases for the CRECE Colombia Project.

• Standardize processes for data cleansing, coding, nomenclature, alignment, and information registration.

• Create and maintain variable dictionaries, catalogs, change logs, and database documentation.

• Manage participant records and verify unique identifiers.

• Consolidate, export, and import information to and from DevResults and other monitoring systems.

• Ensure secure storage, backup, anonymization, and confidentiality of information.

• Design and implement quality control protocols for collected data.

• Review records to identify duplicates, missing data, outliers, inconsistencies, and logical errors.

• Monitor coverage of data collection and report delays and inconsistencies.

• Configure validations, automatic controls, and alerts in SurveyCTO and KoboToolbox.

• Validate and test instruments, conducting field verifications as necessary.

• Train and provide technical assistance to field staff and facilitators.

• Prepare databases for analysis and integration with DevResults and Power BI.

• Assist in calculating and updating indicators.

• Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.

• Conduct descriptive and comparative analyses to identify trends, gaps, territorial differences, and alerts.

• Translate findings into practical recommendations.

• Prepare reports, summaries, technical briefs, and quantitative sections for management, donors, and partners.

• Maintain tracking panels and generate periodic reports.

• Coordinate with project management, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordination, territorial teams, and technical leads of digital platforms.

• Report progress to the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.

• A minimum of three years of experience in managing, debugging, and analyzing databases, preferably in social projects.

• Proven experience in verifying the quality of information collected in the field.

• Experience in the application or supervision of field surveys, preferably in operations of national statistics institutes, censuses, or similar projects.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and consolidation of multiple databases.

• Familiarity with digital data collection tools, particularly SurveyCTO or KoboToolbox.

• Proficient in Power BI or other visualization and dashboard creation tools.

• Ability to responsibly use artificial intelligence tools to support management, review, and analysis of information.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Organizational skills and discipline to follow monitoring schedules.

• Clear and effective communication skills.

• Collaborative, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach with a gender focus.

• Commitment to economic inclusion and empowerment of women in extreme poverty situations.

• Knowledge of and adherence to institutional policies on safeguarding, harassment prevention, data protection, gender equality, and ethical conduct.
