Consulting Life Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the actuarial aspects of financial examinations.

• Contribute to various regulatory projects.

• Provide support for health or property and casualty initiatives as necessary.

• Collaborate as part of a team of actuaries, which includes Senior Consulting Actuaries and analysts.

• Supervise analysts and coordinate tasks with the lead actuary, based on project requirements.

• Communicate effectively with regulatory clients.

• Act as a peer reviewer for specific tasks executed by another credentialed actuary.

• Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by the Senior Managing Director or Director of the actuarial team.

⛳️ Requirements

• ASA or near-ASA designation.

• 4-8 years of experience in the actuarial field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat PDF.

• Excellent writing abilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Experience in regulatory consulting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with asset adequacy analysis is preferred but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of principles-based reserves is preferred but not mandatory.

• Understanding of TeamMate+ is preferred but not mandatory.
