Consulting Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take complete responsibility for the implementation team, anticipated to grow to nearly 20 consultants by the end of 2026.

• Report directly to the Managing Director ANZ.

• Manage delivery outcomes comprehensively across all active engagements.

• Develop the team structure, delivery methodology, and career pathways.

• Oversee daily delivery operations, safeguard margins and client satisfaction, and establish the operational rhythm.

• Manage consulting P&L, encompassing revenue and cost drivers.

• Set and track consulting-level targets while shaping medium-term strategy.

• Provide recommendations regarding build-vs-buy decisions and resource investments.

• Contribute to the company’s vision, strategic direction, and cross-functional executive decisions.

• Ensure delivery quality, risk management, and commercial performance across active client engagements.

• Serve as the senior escalation point for at-risk engagements.

• Develop delivery methodology, governance model, and quality assurance framework.

• Balance capacity planning and skills alignment; ensure engagements are appropriately scoped and staffed.

• Lead Team Leads and Project Managers, holding accountability for the entire delivery team.

• Make comprehensive resourcing decisions and prioritize competing project demands.

• Act as the senior delivery relationship owner for strategic and complex client accounts.

• Represent InfoConsulting in steering committees, executive briefings, and escalation discussions.

• Collaborate with sales and account management on renewals, expansions, and referenceability.

• Provide transparent reporting to clients on program health, risks, and the value delivered.

• Assist in scoping, solutioning, and commercial input for new opportunities and renewals.

• Add delivery credibility to complex sales pursuits, workshops, and proposal defenses.

• Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.

• Establish project governance, documentation, risk logs, and quality gates.

• Monitor portfolio delivery risks and provide early-warning visibility to the Managing Director.

• Drive continuous improvement in methodology, tools, and reusable assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience leading a consulting delivery function of similar or larger scale, including managing people and P&L.

• Ideally possess experience in ERP, EAM, FSM, or related enterprise software consulting.

• Comfortable operating as the most senior delivery voice with considerable autonomy while reporting to the Managing Director.

• Ability to balance margin, utilization, and forecasting while leading a team of approximately 20 individuals.

• Established credibility with clients in asset-intensive sectors, including CFOs, COOs, Heads of Asset Management, and Field Service Directors.

• Experience serving as a senior escalation point on complex, client-critical engagements and effectively resolving issues.

• Direct experience with one or more ERP/EAM/FSM platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP, IFS, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, ServiceMax, or Salesforce Field Service.

• Demonstrated experience in building or scaling a consulting practice through a significant growth phase.

• Formal qualifications in engineering, IT, business, or a related field are highly preferred but not mandatory if experience demonstrates equivalent capability.

• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

• Proficiency in English is required.
