Consultant Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and oversee patients utilizing cannabis-based treatments.

• Make informed clinical decisions regarding the suitability of treatments and manage patient care effectively.

• Deliver exceptional care to patients seeking medical cannabis therapy.

• Carry out patient consultations, which include assessment and continuous management.

• Participate in the collection of clinical outcome data to bolster evidence-based practices.

• Contribute to clinical governance while upholding high standards of patient care.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses and pharmacists.

• Engage in continuous training and professional development opportunities.

• Concentrate on prescribing and patient care, allowing nurses and pharmacists to manage pre-consultation and follow-up responsibilities.

• Conduct standard sessions of 4 hours, with 15-minute appointments for both new and returning patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full GMC Registration is required.

• Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent qualifications.

• Listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Pain.

• A demonstrated interest in alternative therapies is essential.

• Openness to engage in data collection and reporting activities.

• Experience as a Pain Management Consultant is necessary.

• Clinicians must be prepared to commit to a minimum of 2 sessions per week, totaling 8 hours initially.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
