This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Oversee the “People Side” of extensive digital, operational, and AI-driven projects, ensuring high levels of adoption and minimal resistance.
• Design and facilitate human-centered journey mapping sessions to pinpoint friction points for frontline personnel and stakeholders.
• Identify stakeholders who need buy-in and collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to develop data-driven narratives that promote trust and alignment.
• Provide practical coaching and skill enhancement to local leaders and staff in conjunction with the Workforce Development Team.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments on change impact and organizational readiness in both rural and urban health environments.
• Advise local health departments, community health centers, and other local health partners in the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows.
• Convert technical AI capabilities into accessible, human-centered guidance and address concerns regarding trust, data privacy, and job impact.
• Ensure responsible and equity-centered AI adoption during points of care and service delivery.
• Serve as a primary contact for diverse coalitions, resolving operational challenges by addressing fundamental human capacity needs.
• Allocate roughly 85% of time to project work, 5% to administrative tasks, and 10% to business development.
• Lead or co-lead larger technical and advisory projects while contributing to the overall project design.
• Independently manage work with minimal day-to-day or project oversight.
• May supervise Associates and Senior Associates.
• Manage projects to achieve exemplary client satisfaction.
• Contribute to and/or lead proposals.
• Master’s degree in Public Health or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 2 years in a consulting firm environment.
• Experience in organizational change management or leadership and consulting in public health.
• Familiarity with health systems in Massachusetts or other Northeastern states (Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, or New Jersey) is highly preferred.
• At least 1-4 years of client-facing experience.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Mastery of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter) with experience applying them to people-powered systems.
• Capability to “zoom out” for a broader vision while being able to “dive in” to execute critical details during peak workloads.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (such as Smartsheet and Tableau) to create “readiness” dashboards that track employee sentiment and adoption metrics.
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and processes relevant to public health operations.
• Ability to convert technical AI concepts into practical, actionable guidance for frontline staff and local partners with varying levels of technical comfort.
• Prosci certification or equivalent in Change Management is preferred.
• Strong commitment to health equity and a desire to establish sustainable, inclusive public health infrastructure.
