Consultant – Building Services Engineering Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Create innovative and sustainable concepts and solutions for new construction and renovation projects, including cost-effective design specifications or system designs.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of electrical engineering or building-services design plans.

• Spot discrepancies in design documentation and interfaces.

• Discover optimization opportunities.

• Facilitate design coordination meetings.

• Oversee quality and generate solution-focused ideas.

• Provide added value for users, investors, operators, and planners.

• Contribute to Smart Building, BIM, Lean, and other cutting-edge service areas.

• Assume responsibility for projects and specific subject areas.

• Serve as the liaison between clients, project managers, and the design team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education (minimum HTL level; preferably a university of applied sciences degree or university degree) focusing on HVAC, building services engineering, or a similar qualification.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a project management position within the aforementioned area.

• Familiarity with relevant standards, laws, and guidelines.

• Preferred: experience in managing large-scale projects and providing technical guidance to project team members.

• Proficient in German and possess good written and spoken English skills.

• Strong enthusiasm for optimization and digitalization, quality assurance, environmental protection, and sustainability.

• Interest in international projects, especially within the DACH and CEE regions.

• Solution-oriented negotiation skills, complemented by strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities.
